Before I began my coaching certification, I was living on autopilot—stuck in routines, reacting rather than responding, and simply moving through life without much thought or intention. Every day felt like a copy of the last. I was existing, not truly living.

Things began to shift when I embarked on my coaching certification journey. What started as a professional development goal quickly turned into something much deeper: a personal awakening. It wasn’t only about learning how to coach others, it became a transformative process of reconnecting with myself, turning off autopilot, and finally taking control of my own life.

The path was anything but smooth. I started my certification just as the COVID-19 pandemic began to unfold. At the same time, I was confronting the harsh reality of burnout after working in a high-pressure industry. Then came Melbourne’s 262 days of lockdown. Layered on top of that were unexpected health challenges. Life felt like a storm I had to fly through and somehow, I had to find a way to navigate it with resilience, clarity, and purpose.

When my coaching certificate arrived in the mail, it symbolized more than just a professional milestone. It was proof that I had weathered the chaos, grown through it, and emerged with a stronger sense of self. By the end of the program, I didn’t just earn credentials. I found alignment with my core values, reclaimed my energy, and redefined what success means to me.

That transformation reflects what it truly means to build a strong inner foundation and unearth your spark.
